Establishing a positive environment where dialogue between youth and institutions can occur, is crucial.

Volunteers at Food Bank

Having strong community groups willing to make change happen and play their part in creating healthy social environments is crucial. Students who feel like they belong report less substance abuse, bullying and victimization, better academic performance, and attendance. Establishing a dialogue between youth and institutions is an important role for community organizations, mental health workers,  school boards, etc. With the influence and resources to better the narrative, we can all come together and support one another and support our youth. Our toolkit provides you with the first steps.
